DAR ES SALAAM
Start your itinerary with an overnight in Dar Es Salaam to get used to your next couple of days in Africa. There is no need to rush your best days of the year, rather take it slow and enjoy to the fullest.
SELOUS
Nyerere National Park, named in honor of Tanzania’s first President, Julius Nyerere, is a captivating wildlife reserve nestled in the heart of the country. Renowned for its diverse ecosystems, the park offers a mesmerizing blend of savanna, woodlands, and the majestic Rufiji River. Home to an array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and a myriad of bird species, but most unique for its lakes.
DAY 1 – Arrival at Dar-es-Salaam airport. You will be met inside the airport with a sign with your name and will be assisted with immigration clearance, baggage collection and escort to the driver. Transfer to a hotel for leisure after the flight.
DAY 2 – Breakfast and transfer to the airport for a flight departing to Nyerere National Park (former Selous Reserve). Meet your driver-guide on arrival and start the safari. Pontoon lunch – served on a small boat cruising on the lake. Afternoon game drive. Dinner.
DAY 3 – Breakfast and departure for a morning boat safari. Lunch at the camp. Afternoon game drive. Dinner
DAY 4 – Breakfast and departure for a morning game drive. Lunch at the camp. Afternoon game drive. This day you can also go fishing to the nearest lake (Catch and Release). Dinner
DAY 5 – Breakfast, morning game drive on the way to the airstrip. Departure to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival at the park, meet your driver-guide, short transfer to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Early dinner and departure for a Night game drive.

RUAHA
Ruaha National Park, situated in the rugged heart of Tanzania, beckons adventurers with its untamed beauty and extraordinary biodiversity. DAY 6 – Morning walking safari and Breakfast. Leisure at the camp. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner

DAY 8 – Breakfast, morning game drive and departure from Ruaha to Mafia archipelago (Songo Songo island airstrip). Boat transfer to Fanjove Island

DAY 9 – 11 Beach leisure at Fanjove Private Island. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. You can go for the extra activities: snorkeling from the beach and by boat, kayaking, SUP, island walk, sandbank picnic, one sunset dhow sail trip and one marine boat safari, diving and fishing.
DAY 12 Breakfast. Boat transfer to Songo Songo island airstrip for the flight to Dar-es-Salaam for the on wards international flight
