Day 1 – Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our representative just before the immigration area, holding a sign with your name. They will guide you through passport and visa control, assist with luggage and customs, and then escort you to your driver. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner to kick off your Tanzanian adventure.
SERENGETI
Day 2 – Serengeti Safari Begins
After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will meet you and begin your safari journey toward the lodge, where lunch will be served. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting evening game drive in Serengeti before returning to the lodge for a delicious dinner.
Day 3 – Full Day in Serengeti
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a full-day safari in the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Your driver-guide will take you to the park’s best spots to observe wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, then continue exploring before returning to the lodge for dinner.
NGORONGORO & HIGHLANDS
Day 4 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti on your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Explore the crater’s rich wildlife during a thrilling game drive, followed by a picnic lunch near a scenic crater lake. In the afternoon, continue your journey to your lodge, nestled between the Olmoti and Empakaai craters. Enjoy dinner at the lodge, surrounded by stunning landscapes.
KARATU
Day 5 – Maasai Village and Empakaai Crater
After breakfast with stunning valley views, visit a local Maasai village to discover their rich traditions and way of life. Continue with a short trek near Empakaai Crater, guided by a ranger, while taking in views of the soda lake, famous for its pink flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater rim before heading towards Karatu.
Historically, the Karatu and Oldeani area played a significant role during the German colonial era. Its cool climate and lush hills attracted settlers and farmers, and vast fields now cover the slopes. Coffee, once a major export crop, is still grown on a few large farms in the area, surrounded by scenic valleys.
SAFARI IN TANZANIA – LAKE EYASI
Day 6 – Lake Eyasi and Hadza Tribe Visit
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Lake Eyasi, a seasonal salt lake nestled in the Great Rift Valley. This arid region is home to the Hadza, an ancient bushman tribe related to the Khoisan people of South Africa. Visit one of their settlements to learn about their traditional way of life. The Hadza’s neighbors, the Datoga people, are skilled in livestock herding and metalworking, trading arrow tips with the Hadza.
Enjoy lunch at the lodge, followed by a relaxing afternoon to unwind before a delicious dinner.
SAFARI IN TANZANIA – TARANGIRE
Day 7 – Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its pink flamingos and unique tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Maji Moto Hot Springs before continuing your journey to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in Tarangire and embark on a game drive before heading to the lodge for dinner.
Day 8 – Full Day Safari in Tarangire
Spend a full day exploring Tarangire, named after the river that runs through it. The park is famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, which add to its breathtaking beauty. Enjoy breakfast and dinner at the lodge, with a picnic lunch in the park.
Day 9 – Morning Game Drive and Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Tarangire before driving to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
